Brad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Match Point. Brad has had a varied career of over 30 years in numerous leadership positions. In addition to his advisory experience, Brad has significant operating experience in emerging to mid-stage Digital Health and healthcare services firms. He has served as CEO of 8 venture-backed companies, including BigWhiteWall, Acupera, Inc., CareGuide, Inc. and Oncure Medical Inc. He has also served as a Board member to Prodigy Health Group, a TPA roll-up, and several other firms and been a senior executive and an investor in many others.
Brad also has extensive advisory experience in investment banking, including M&A and capital raising services, strategic consulting, and in a legal capacity both in private practice at a national firm and as General Counsel of several firms.
This blend of advisory experience, coupled with entrepreneurial, operational and leadership positions in healthcare and technology gives Brad a unique perspective, and allows him to deliver value added advice to his clients tempered by operational and entrepreneurial experience.
Brad began his career as an attorney with the NYC firm Kaye Scholer, where he practiced for nearly a decade; followed by a stint as General Counsel of The Multicare Companies, a NYSE listed owner/operator of 175 senior living facilities in 10 states.
Mr. Burkett holds a JD from Rutgers School of Law, where he was on Law Review and a BA from Rutgers College where he was a member of the Cap & Skull Society. He is a member of the Bar of the States of New York and New Jersey. Mr. Burkett is a registered representative and holds licenses for the Series 7, 24, 63 and 79.
